OUR HISTORY
This institution was established to perpetuate the memory of Sree Narayana Guru a great Saint, Philosopher, Social Reformer and above all, a poet and an erudite scholar of the Vedas who preached and practiced the gospel of Universal Brotherhood as embodied in his maxim One caste, one religion, one God for man and also advised the down-trodden to educate and thus liberate themselves from the superstitions and shake less of oppression at the hands of the caste despots. Inspired by the Gurus teachings, Sree Narayana followers of Chentrappinni formed a Public Charitable Trust in 1977, which established S.N. Vidya Bhavan in July 1978 with L.K. G. and U.K G. classes simultaneously.
